Laurent Fabre : Father Laurent Fabre is the main founder of the Chemin Neuf Community which started in Lyon in 1973. It was a period during which new communities appeared in France. He discovered the Charismatic Renewal while he was studying theology as a Jesuit novice. He then participated in the foundation of various prayer groups and led spritual retreats. He later became the Superior General of the Chemin Neuf Religious Institute.
Steven Gunnell : He was born in 1974 in Annecy from an English father, who is musician and an Italian mother. As a former member of the group "Alliage", Steven Gunnell sold thousands of discs. His encounter with Christ changed his life and his career, he is the author of several books such as "Sacrifié" (Sacrified) and "A l'ombre de tes Ailes" (In the shadow of your wings) in which he tells about his conversion.
Jean Vanier who was born in Canada, met people with intellectual disability in 1963. A year later, with Father Thomas Philipps, he founded L'Arche Community which is dedicated to disabled people. He also founded "Foi et Lumière" with Hélène Mathieu , which organises spiritual and international pilgrimages. The first one took place in Lourdes in 1971. As a witness of Christ, Jean Vanier also wrote several books.
